Bibi Harbaksh Kaur Hayer was born in village Dabrikhana of Nabha Princely State in 1918 to S. Dalip Singh Gill and Sardarni Aas Kaur Gill. Her Grandfather S. Gurdial Singh Gill was a renowned personality of Nabha area. Bibiji had family lineage of S. Sewa Singh Thikriwal, a famous freedom fighter. She got married to S. Bhag Singh Hayer, later in whose revered memory, she donated 26.5 acre of land along with Rupees Two Crore and Twenty five Lakhs to start this college. The college since August 1, 2001 has become a hallmark of education in Abohar Region. The self less soul left for her heavenly abode on 27th January, 2019. The Management, Principal, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff pays homage to the departed soul.
